	Contents	1) Fibers - Fiber is a hair-like basic unit of raw material used in the making of yarns and fabrics. Natural fibers have been used for apparel and home fashion for thousands of years, with the use of wool going back over 4,000 years. In comparison, the man-made fiber industry began with the first commercial production of rayon in 1910. Example : Natural Fibers : cotton, wool, silk. Man-Made Fibers : rayon, nylon, polyester, spandex. For more detailed information : i) click "Fabric University" under "Links" menu in left side menu. ii) click "Fibers" in "Browse Topics" at "Love to Know" under "Links" menu. 2) Yarns - Yarns are a threads that are formed by collecting and twisting fibers together. Converting fibers into yarns is a necessary step for weaving or knitting fabrics. Cotton, wool, and man-made staple products are converted to yarn by a process called spinning. Example : Staple Yarns, Blended Yarns. 	Contents	This page is for yarn data handling. You can search, add, delete yarns from this page. But most functions are done in detail data page called "Fiber Registration". So this page is just bridge of that page. You can go there by clicking any area or "Home" column on desirable line. 1) Search : Partial listing by condition items. - Fiber Type, Fiber, Ratio, Color : Condition items. 2) "Search" : Start button to search by given conditions. 3) Report : Data sorting items. 4) Command : Go to other related pages. - "New Registration" : Add new yarn. Only authorized users are allowed to go to the new registration page.
